Will You Sign My Book of Mormon?

Hello amazing friends & family! This is what happened this week! It was a pretty good week 😊

🍁Monday: We went to a really good ice cream shop called Clumpies. 10/10 would recommend

🍁Tuesday: We had a lesson with a recent convert! He gave us peanut butter M&Ms and a bunch of other candy so pretty much he is my new favorite person. He was also able to get the priesthood on Sunday which means we will get to attend the temple with him soon!!
We also knocked on a persons door who asked us if we could sign his Book of Mormon 😂 He has all the missionaries who stop by sign his book. I honestly thought he was going to bash us but he turned out to be pretty cool! Wasn't interested but still cool

🍁Wednesday: was district council. We also had a lesson which went up in flames... 😣

🍁Thursday: We had a lesson with an awesome guy named Gary! We asked him if he had read 3n11 from the Book of Mormon and he said he had! He then told us how he also started from the beginning! What an overachiever!

🍁Friday: we went tracting all day and it would not stop raining. My favorite pair of shoes got ruined so if someone would like to start a GoFundMe for new shoes for Sister Warburton I would not be mad 😂 (just kidding please don't do that)

🍁Saturday: We had a lesson with a 9 year old and we watched a bit of the restoration. The spirit was so strong! That family is amazing ♡

🍁Sunday: We had dinner with a member, Noel, and she has a cute baby boy. He is so cute!!

This week I would like to talk about repentance.

President Nelson said: "When Jesus said ‘repent,’ His disciples recorded that command in the Greek language with the verb metanoeo. This powerful word has great significance. In this word, the prefix meta means ‘change.’ The suffix relates to four important Greek terms: nous, meaning ‘the mind’; gnosis, meaning ‘knowledge’; pneuma, meaning ‘spirit’; and pnoe, meaning ‘breath.’
“Thus, when Jesus said ‘repent,’ He asked us to change—to change our mind, knowledge, and spirit”

Literally when we are asked to repent we are asked to change our breathe. I've been pondering about my mission, and I didn't realize it, but I started to become bitter not better. After a snarky door I would make a snarky comment about that person to my companion thinking it would help me feel better. It honestly doesn't. Just because someone is rude to me doesn't mean I have to be rude back behind their backs. Sometimes it's hard to love someone who is screaming at your face that your belief is wrong but that's what Christ would do. I found that even if people reject our message we have that common belief in Jesus Christ & if we steer the conversation towards that common ground we both leave the doorway feeling edified

Have a great Halloween this week!! Love y'all!

Also in case anyone was counting down I hit 11 months today (;

Stay Hydrated

Greetings from Tennessee 😊

This week was a good one! There was street called "Cary Street" (I picked it out because it sounded the same as my first name) & it was probably the nicest street I've tracted my whole mission! People were super nice and a lot of people talked to us!!

This week we also had powerups! I went with Sister Kime and it was so fun!! I was able to go to Georgia for a day! (:

Funny story: we were knocking doors and a kid answered the door. We asked if his parents were home and he said "no." When then left him with a card and told him to give it to his parents. He was like "Yes ma'am!" Then he was like "STAY HYDRATED" We left that door laughing our heads off 😂

This week I want to do a gratitude email full of shout-outs and gratitude for my friends and family:

My Mom: My mom is the best mom in the world! My mom is the kindest, most loving, most charitable, person I know. She is so amazing and beautiful inside and out. I don't know how I got so lucky to have the world's best mom ♡

My Dad: My dad has always supported me and my dreams. He is a hard worker and an amazing guitar player and he should be famous (; I'm grateful that he served in Tennessee so he knows what challenges I face on the day to day

My Older Sister Marie: She has been such a great example to me. I'm grateful for her willingness to talk and listen. She's also a good cook (;

My Younger Brother Daniel: Daniel is an angel on this Earth. He loves animals and stuffed animals and will play Smashbros and Animal Crossing with me ♡ he is so smart and is probably taller than me 😂

Little Sissy Angie: She is so spunky but you will never meet someone with a kinder heart! If you are sad she will dress up as a clown. She will have random dance parties and is just a ball of sunshine. Love you bafoon ♡

Cassidy: Somehow she managed to stay friends with me through my awkward stages of life. It's been 2 years since we've seen each other but it's like we never left. She is smart, kind, pretty, and just overall amazing! I don't know what I would do without her

Michaela: She has been such a great friend to me and such a loving & kind person ♡ she also has stuck with me through the awkward stages of my life and I'm grateful for her and her sweet spirit

Kaelie: I love this girl with my whole heart! My life would not be the same without her. She is such an amazing person and I probably have not laughed as much with someone as much as I've laughed with her

I am grateful for all my friends and family God has put into my life ♡ I'm grateful to whoever is reading this! You are an amazing child of God!! NEVER FORGET IT!

Love y'all to eternity and back ♡

It's Finally Fall Y'all 🍁

Hey friends & family! It has finally cooled down!! Yay!!

This week was transfers which was fun! (: two of my companions are home now. It's crazy!

Hixon Tennessee is really awesome! I'm still getting to know the area but from what I've got so far it's a pretty great place to be (:

“Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.
“But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.
“No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come." ~Elder Worthlin

I read this this week and it really is true! We need the bad to appreciate the good. The Fridays to appreciate the Sundays. Sunday will come!! I know it will 😊

Have a great week! Remember who you are 😉 thank y'all for your prayers and support ♡

Wow. I cannot believe I'm actually writing this email. I really relate to that Nashville Tribute Band song "The Hardest Thing I...
