Plot Twist

Hello! To jump right to it we had transfer calls (because we are getting a ton of reassigned missionaries) and we found out that Rotherwood is getting whitewashed! I will be going to Cumberland Gap & Sister Berry is going to the ward next door and is going to Kingsport. To say the least we. were. shocked. My new companion will be Sister Hunsaker and she was in my district last transfer so I already know her! Also fun fact: Cumberland Gap was in my first district so I am going back to my baby district 😊 I also will have served in 3/5 Sister areas they have in the Cumberland Stake. Taking it to a total of serving 10 months on that zone! Not complaining though! I love Cumberland zone ♡

We also found out on Sunday that one of the Elders in our mission was hit by a car and passed away. Please keep his family & his companion (who was a reassigned missionary) in your prayers. Him and his companion were suppose to have a baptism that day but the person didnt show up to the baptism. So they decided to bike to their house and ask them why they didn't show up. On the way a car hit the Elders bike and it was a hit and run. We had a mission wide phone call when our mission president told us the news. Which we also had a mission prayer. In that prayer President Pickett included the person who hit the Elder. He asked that we can all find forgiveness for them and that they would be comforted because the weight of that probably weighs heavy on them and they are probably very frightened. I started bawling. I never heard of a greater act of forgiveness. Our mission President prayed for forgiveness for the person who took away one of his missionaries. We can all be better at following President Picketts example and forgiving others. I know I can. The Elder who passed away died in the act of serving. He is a great example to all of us. He gave his life literally to the service. Elder Bergenson will be someone I will look up to for the rest of my life

A Weekly Email From Sister Warburton

I apologize. I'm running out of titles for my weeklies haha

This week was good! We had someone call who moved into the ward and told us his wife wants to take lessons so that's super exciting!

This week was transfers pt.1 and we got 35 new missionaries in our mission and next week we will be getting 25 more so we will be having transfers pt 2 on Monday. Stay tuned to see if anything new happens

The longer I'm on the mission the more my mind is blown just by how aware God is of us, how much he loves us, and how much strength we can gain from Him. God is so good!

Have a great week! Love y'all!

Is This Really The Last??

Hello 😊 This week was good. We had transfer calls and believe it or not but this will be my last transfer. Kind of doesn't feel real Haha. Sister Zaugg is leaving and I'm Staying in Rotherwood (Kingsport) and getting a new companion (: her name is Sister Berry. I'm super excited!

Highlights:
-Whenever we walk by the lake there are always baby geese and ducks! Its soooo cute!

-Me and Sister Zaugg had a conversation where I literally laughed so hard my vocal chords hurt for a day 😂 it was hilarious!

-Our district filmed a video for Facebook and it was so fun to do! So many bloopers lol

The work still goes on! Not in the way I'm used to doing it, and honestly quarantine has made me feel like I'm in training all over again, but it still goes on and there are still blessings and people prepared!

1 Peter 1:7
"That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ"

As crazy as it sounds our trials really are more precious than gold. Gold perisheth but our trials will gain us praise and honour and glory in Gods sight (: Hold on!

Love y'all! Thank you for your support! Have a great week!!
