love you. I Love You. I LOVE YOU!!!!

Hello family & friends! This week wasn't the best but that's okay because this next week will be better! We've just been having difficulty finding people, people have been dropping us, and I fell this week 😣 but it's okay! The work of the Lord still goes on!

This week was transfers and I got a new companion (: her name is Sister Rackley and one of the first things I learned about her is her cousin plays the Jesus in the bible videos. Her cousin is literally my background photo on Facebook 😂 there's a good chance that you might have my companions cousins picture on your phone too lol

This week there was a guys door we knocked on and he had a video doorbell. We knocked on his door and he said "hello" through his doorbell. We told him we were the missionaries and asked if we could just leave a card in his door. He said yes and so we did. We said bye and he said. "Bye, love you" and I thought he said it on accident. Then he repeated again "I Love You!" Then he said it very loud "I LOVE YOU!!!!" and at this point me and Sister Rackley were laughing our heads off 😂

Alma 7:23 And now I would that ye should be humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive

When I read this scripture this week I saw that it said to "ask for whatsoever things we stand in need of both temporal and spiritual"
Sometimes I feel bad asking God for things but as a child of God it is my responsibility and privilege to ask my Heavenly Father for help. My challenge for y'all is to pray after reading this and pour out the desires of your heart to God. He is there to hear and answer your prayers. I know this is true and I've seen it happen in my life. Even if the answer is not something I previously wanted.

I love you all and have a great Thanksgiving day! Thanksgiving this year marks my 1 year! I'm so grateful for this opportunity I have had to be a missionary so far and I'm excited to see what the next 6 months will bring! Stay safe & remember who you are! ♡

Temple & baptism!!!

Hello loved ones! This week was fantastic! We went to the temple on Tuesday with a recent convert. We got to serve as witnesses for some of the baptisms! It was amazing! It's been about 10 months since I've been able to attend the temple and it was definitely a spiritual reboost. It really put things back in to perspective of why I'm out here

The weather has started to cool down. Next week on Thanksgiving I will be hitting my one year mark! It's crazy how fast time flies! It's weird to start wearing my winter coat again. I feel like I'm being trained again lol

Zone Conference was this week and it was so good all aside from the fact we had to get our flu shots 😬 luckily I have a companion who held my hand 😂💛

We also had transfer calls this week. I will be staying in Hixon and be getting a new companion (: I'm exicted for this next transfer! Specially because of #lighttheworld

On Sunday we had a baptism! It was so good! I'm so proud of my goldfish 101 (;
