Worst 5 seconds of my life

Hello! I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! Here's a few highlights from this week:

👻Wednesday we had district council and afterwards we went out to eat. Anyone who knows me well knows I loath pickles. I was telling an Elder in my district how much I hate them & he said I should try bread and butter pickles. I said I would try one if he ever had any (thinking I would never have to try one). Just to my luck the senior couple brought him bread and butter pickles THAT SAME DAY. So after we ate lunch we went back to the church and I kept my word and tried a pickle and even swallowed it. IT WAS DISGUSTING AND THE WORST THING I'VE EVER ATE... WORST 5 SECONDS OF MY LIFE!   The taste also lingered for 30 minutes afterwards 😷💩 That night we had the ward Halloween party! It was way fun!

👻On Tuesday we had a recent convert, Rick, take us to Red Lobster! It was soooo good! He also found out we ate all the peanut butter M&Ms he gave us so he gave us another bag! He is the biggest sweetheart!

👻Thursday was Halloween & we got to go in at 6. We watched Meet The Mormons (:

👻We had dinner and another lesson with the Camber family. I love that family so much! They also brought a friend to the lesson! Me and the 9 year old we're teaching have code names for each other 😂 he's goldfish 202 and I'm goldfish 101 (long story 😊).

🔆If you're going to read anything from this email please read this:
Yesterday in fast & testimony meeting there was a young adult who got up and shared a testimony I wouldn't forget. She talked about how she has been to the hospital twice and they found out she had celiac disease & was lactose intolerant. She proceeded to bare her testimony about how the Atonement of Jesus Christ applies to the "stupid" things like not being able to eat cheese.
I know that this is true. I've see the Atonement work in the "stupid" things in my life. The thing is pain is pain. Weather its big or small. Saying that you shouldn't be upset because someone else has it worse is like saying that you shouldn't be happy because someone else has it better. The Savior recognizes your pain and validates it. It is our job to turn to him and use the healing power of the Atonement. I know that it works and I've seen it work in other people's lives. I am so grateful for my Savior and for that gift that he provides
