Hello! This week was so good!! We set a goal to find 8 people this week and we ended up finding 12!
Some cool stories from this week:
This week we went on powerups (powerups is when our Sister Training leaders come to our area and we switch companions for the day). Me and the Sister I went ended up getting our car stuck in the mud! 😅 we tried to push it
out but it wasn't working. We then prayed and got the impression to knock some houses and ask for help. We knocked the first one and no one was home. We then knocked a second one and they said they would come and help! We were able to get it unstuck! We tried
to share the Book of Mormon with them but they weren't interested in our message. We are so thankful that he came out and helped us though ♡
The other day we had a lesson with someone I had not met yet. We went on a team up with a member and the member ended up knowing the person we were teaching! We had a plan to teach the restoration but during the lesson we
both felt prompted to share the Plan of Salvation. The lesson was so good and when we told her that we lived with Heavenly Father before this life her face lit up! It was so awesome! It's moments like those that make being a missionary worth it!
"Sometimes we are tempted to let our lives be governed more by convenience than by covenant" I really liked that quote. Sometimes it's easy just to live a comfortable life. There is no growth in your comfort zone!!
